HELP WITH YOUR BOOKING
To book your holiday, select the length of stay that you would like e.g. ‘One week’ or for 10 days select ‘week +’ then choose the dates that you would like. All available dates are shown in grey (dates shown in burgundy are not available as they are already booked). You can search for availability across all of our accommodation month-by-month.
The online booking calendar is live. All bookings are updated immediately which means that you can have confidence that any dates shown available. To see the price of your break, select how long you would ideally like to say from the drop down and hover your mouse over the dates and the prices will be displayed. If you would like to proceed with the booking click the highlighted dates. At this stage you may also like to choose some optional extras such as additional bedding (if using sofa beds) or maybe a selection of local food. Once you're happy with all of the details make your booking and pay.
To complete your booking, enter your personal details and click the button to book your break. At this stage your booking is reserved. We'll then confirm details of your booking on the screen and request payment. We currently accept payment by cheque, bank transfer, debit or credit card. We ask for a 50% deposit to reach us within a week of booking with the remainder becoming due 6 weeks before arrival. When booking a holiday cottage within 8 weeks of arrival, the full amount becomes payable on booking.
Late Availability and Linked Bookings
You can book a break starting on the same day, however, we recommend that you call us to make sure we are aware of the booking and are able to meet your requirements before making the payment by card. If you would like to book two or more properties at the same time you can create each booking in turn and then pay either separately by card or jointly by cheque.
If you've chosen to pay by cheque we allow a week for payment to reach us, if you are paying by card you will be able to complete the transaction immediately whilst you are on our booking pages. All card payments are securely handled by Sage Pay which is a Payment Card Industry accredited provider, your card details are not seen nor handled directly by us.
Confirmation and Status
Once you've made your booking, our availability calendar is automatically updated. We'll inform you, by email, of the status of your booking and what happens next, at each stage of your booking. If you've only paid a deposit we'll email you before your final payment is due and ask you to revisit the site to pay your balance. You may check your booking status at any time by clicking on the ‘Check your booking’ link in your emails.
