Tariffs

Tariffs quoted are based on check-in date and stated length of stay. Tariffs are for the number of occupants listed in your e-mail confirmation and do not include charges for extra bedding, towels or extra people. VAT is included in your booking tariff and is charged at the standard rate.

 

Confirmation of booking

We will confirm your booking on receipt of your deposit. Please check details of the confirmation and advise us immediately if there are any errors.

 

Payment

We allow 7 days for your deposit to reach us after receipt of your request for a reservation. If your deposit does not arrive within 7 days we reserve the right to offer the accommodation to others. Payment dates are advised at the time of booking. Please ensure payments reach us by the advised date to prevent your booking from being cancelled. For self-catering accommodation, a 50% deposit is requested on booking and full payment is due 6 weeks before arrival or on booking if within 8 weeks of arrival. For our bed and breakfast guest rooms a 50 deposit will secure a reservation and the full balance becomes due on arrival.

 

Revision/Cancellation

Should you need to cancel, we will be happy to refund any payment after deducting an administration charge of 20, provided the accommodation is re-let. If we are unable to re-sell your holiday we will retain payments to cover our costs and you may therefore wish to take out holiday insurance. If, regretfully, we are unable to provide the accommodation we will refund your payment. Our liability will be limited to the payment that we have received from you, we will not pay compensation or expenses arising from the cancellation.

Arrival time

Earliest arrival times are advised at the time of booking. If you arrive at Norburton Hall prior to the advised check-in time you are welcome to leave your car in the grounds and to return to reception later. We like to ensure that our accommodation is prepared to the highest standards and request that guests will respect arrival times.

 

Pets

Generally we have a no pets policy. In two of our properties we occasionally welcome well-behaved pets by prior arrangement only. Please contact us for more details including costs.

 

Departure

We leave cleaning materials in the cottages and ask for the accommodation to be left clean and tidy with the dishwashers empty and for all breakages and damage to be paid for or rectified. Alternatively service cleaning can be organised by arrangement. Departure from self-catering accommodation is requested by 10.00am.
